6800Ultra and Shadows everywhere

Hey ppl,
I had a friend's X850XT PE in my DFI Ultra-D and it was ok. Then I instaled my 6800Ultra back (uninstaled Catalyst and ran Driver Cleaner as always) and instaled the most recent Forceware. Everything was fine til I changed my resolution to 1280x1024, it made apear shadows on every Icon, text and images (transparent shadow on the right of everything). Tried many catalyst and still have the same shadows. Anyone had a similar problem ou know any solution?

You shouldn't be running a 1280*1024, try 1280*960

I've always run 1280x1024, but nvm, solve the problem a few moments ago, can't use a Data Switch to share my monitor with 2 pc's, the 6800Ultra doesn't like it :S
