I cant compete with the big boys, limited funs no phase change so makes no sense for me to buy the high end cards.
Will stick to the low end cards and my water and air cooling

Ive got a 9600XT with a 630+ (666 when it's cold outside) core sitting around due a chip popping in my other comp......
Obviously its AGP though, and the memory clock sucks :(

Cards have hynix chips.
The samsung 2.0ns chips just clock to aboout 400.
The stock cooling has to go, must put heatsinks on ram, and get a better heatsink this thing gives off alot of heat like 68c under load.
The best drivers are cat5.1 for 2k1, using xp. Using win2k I lost points, these cards are built for dx9 and xp.
2k1 loves 1:1 my 512 gskill was at 290 2.5/3/3/7

On an intel, you need massive CPU clocks to get anywhere in 01. as it is very CPU dependant.

Hehe, your trifecta won't last long. Before May is over it will be down /exams whole of May unfortunately, and dont have much time :D

Bought a X600XT for 350DKK, so just over 50 USD. Now couple it with this:

The x600xt are usually vivo and have 128mb the pro usually have 256mb but the mem is slower on the the pro and the core is clocked alot less also.

Yeah, mods would be nice. I receive my X600XT card today. It's a BBA X600XT with presumeably 128mb ram, though it also has chips on the back.

Will be fun with the peltier, it just barely fits! Will give it some runs next week.

Seems like a pretty much refference x600xt to me. Not too sure about vivo or about it being an xt, next week will tell :D
