i doubt it will take too much, 1gb ram, decent proc, and a current gen video card should be all it takes.

That's the thing though, a lot of games look a lot better than they really are. Like in SWG when you take a screenshot, there is no way taht game ever looks that good consistently unless you're running an X850XT or something.

guys question, will this be just like battlefield vietnam where you can see the enemy becuase they have the names in red for the enemy, and the names of blue for the allies. if this will be, what the hell is the point of being a sniper?

Umm... for me, the red names don't show up unless you're relatively close to them and are looking right at them. In which case, if you can't see them to snipe, then you've got problems. Otherwise, they blend in and there always seem to be snipers camped around the base that I can't see without a helicopter to take them out.

I am eagerly awaiting this one as well. I am a vet of 1942 and BFV and can't wait to try out some of the modern weaponry. I go by the tag "Unlimited Limitations" on the battlefied, gimme a shout if I shoot your face off, or if you shoot mine...See you on the BF!
Try the mod Desert Combat in the meantime.

Well, you're not the only one. I'd say BF:V was just made to make money. I see it as a stepping stone between BF1942 and BF2. Very irritating indeed.

yea i was at the store one day, and i was like do i get BF:V or 42, i had figured that the populace of 42 would move over to vietnam, but i was wrong, and the people who stayed with 42 were right.... i played a demo of 1942 and like it more than vietnam.

does anyone know if the pre-order from newegg for BF2 will give you the free headset that gamestop offers? this is like one of the only products newegg ever sells that has a pre-order so i would guess it does have the headset but i would like to make sure. I sent them an email about it, but i doubt they will respond.

ther is only one thing i want this game to have. Desrt Combat Helo flight. i brok my vietnam cd the day i got it czu the helo's ion ther are built for kjey baord fliers. :( and i practiced for so long in dc to become a good pilot.

i find the oposite i am usually disapointed in screenshots and say ahhh that looks fake then i see the game in motion and am like ooooo wow thats nice hehehe. case in point counterstrike source looks like crap in screenshots it barely looks better then cs 1.6 but in motion its awesome and realistic looking
