I have a 3000+ winny, and it works at 300mhz FSB, but only on really low multi like 4 or 5. The chip is able to run atleast 2.2 on stock air, I havn't put in in my water cooling yet, but will soon. So the question is, if it can run 300 at a really low multi, why can't it run with a higher multi and 300 FSB while still being under 2.2? The memory is some VX that is running at 1/2 the FSB. The RAM isn't the problem, at 300 it is only running at 150. I ahve some PC4800 that are coming and I hope to run this at 300 MHz. Could it be a setting in the BIOS? I ahve a DFI NF4 with the old BIOS, going to update it as soon as I find a floppy that works.

I have the same problem...you might want to check out this thread on ldt / chipset voltage over here

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=60458

I can memtest at 275*8 (2200) and it passes fine but super pi and prime break instantly (even thoughi can prime overnight at 240*10)

I just increased ldt to 1.4 and nb to 1.6 and seem to be able to pass superpi 32m at 265*9 but I am at school now so will have to wait til I get home to try increasing to 275

(using gskill 4400 / dfi nf4 / 3200+ winnie)
