hi !
i need yours help and advice here please.

i sale my antec 550w 24pin today and want to buy
the ocz power stream, in the beginning i was plan to buy
the 600w but almost everyone say that the ocz 520w is better/silence/stable from the 600w.

my questions:

1)they are right ? and which ocz psu do you recommend for me ?

2) there is any issue with my system and the ocz psu ?

btw - $ is not a issue here, jest performance.

Thanks in advances

Well hell, if $$ isnt an issue, go for the Power PC and Cooling 510 SLI or 850 model!

Now if you just wanted the OCZ, the 600 Powerstream is a winner!

we dont have any pc power and cooling distributor in my country so the ocz will be my choice.

and winner is good for my, thanks for your advice The Mofo :toast:

For OC, my opinion is that the winner is the 520w and not the 600w Powerstream...

I agree with Picaxuu imo the 600w isnt the extra $80 or so.

Sure it is. Its all about the AMPS and supporting SLI. If youre going to do it, do it right the FIRST time.

The 520w handles an SLI system just fine

I actually have both units and I wouldn't say the 600w is lounder than the 520w.

Bother units perform well and I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Not down the road it wont when the next set of power hog video cards come out. With PSU's, youre supposed to buy ahead of what you actually need. Otherwise, youre just tossing $$ away.

Well, then youre just kidding yourself. Power consumption climbs, each and every generation.

I would say if you can afford the OCZ 600, then go for it. It will allow for a little more headroon for the future. The PC P & C 510 SLi is nice and stable, but be prepared for the jet engine sound of the delta fan screaming to keep it cool. My OCZ 600's rails are just as stable as the 510's, but much quieter!

The 520 is a nice supply as well, and will power a SLi system just fine...

Anandtech uses the OCZ PowerStream 520W for all of their SLI testing,
so you really can't go wrong with either the 520W or 600W, if money is not an issue,
you might as well get the 600W which has dual +12V rails & should give you a little more breathing room.

Maybe you're right but i just dont see myself spend $80 extra for the 600w. Dave in Daytona are you davidhammock200 from eoc?

who would ever think that one system will need 600w psu, or there will be a 850w psu, I still can't belive that there is 850w psu
