Hey guys.

Well ive got the rig in my sig. Ive just broke my DFI NF3 754 board, part of the brown bit around the socket is snapped, and i think the whole board is borked anyway.

Iam seriously thinking of going for one of the New San Diego 3700 chips, but then id need a 939 mobo, of which has to be AGP, because of my X800.

Ive heard of a fair few horror stories with the MSI Neo 2, and ive always been a bit iffy about it, but it seems the only real board i can go with.

My 3700 Claw is disapointing, and ive definatly got the water setup for a good overclock.

So what you guys think i should do???

Just buy another DFI Nforce 3? or sell my 3700 Claw, and Grab a 3700 SD, MSi Neo 2 and DDR Booster for my memory.

My advice would be to stick with 754 if you don't want to spend a ton of money, or get a 939 setup. (Check out the EPOX 9NDA3+/9NDA3J boards if you absolutely need AGP and don't like the Neo2.)

If you want to bite the bullet and do a full system upgrade, I'm sure you can sell your stuff on eBay for almost enough to cover the cost of your upgrade. If you have the means go PCI-E + 939. That seems to be the general consensus around here.

Yeah i decided to go with another DFI Nf3.

Didn't want to get a Neo 2, and ive spent enough cash already, hehe.

Next upgrade for me will probly be dual core.

There isn't really many major problems with the neo2. There will be a lot of threads about its problems just because so many people use it. Its a great fast board really. Of course there is a chance that you will get a crappy board and you will have problems, but that cahcne is balanced out by the fact that it is the fastest 939/AGP board out right now as far as I know.

yes ur so right that's why they just put out new turion processors for 754 right? yea not much support if they keep adding processors.... i say if you should stick with 754 and further down the road upgrade to 939
