Just wondering if anyone has modded the bios on this board yet. Im perticularly interrested to see if theres a way to check if the temp monitoring is correct, cuz im sure most everyone in here is aware that this board has a semi-prob reporting CPU temps higher than what they actually are.

Ive been into overclocking since I started with my first AMD chip, just new to actually tearing apart bios code and modding it so im not sure what I should look for.

I do also recomend this board, its good, very good infact and stable, just has the temp issue. :)

Any help/direction will be appreciated.

Thanks

I wish someone would fix this POS. I'm glad you have success with the AV8 but I have been turned off. Oh well I wanted to try a DFI the next time around.

Problems:
AGP lock is goofed
HTT will not do 3XHTT even at stock speeds
Board overvolts everything by .05
Temps seem too high, idling stock with a XP-120 and 120CFM fan at 37 degrees C
I wish someone would add a 9:2:1 ratio to the overclock mix (not really a problem I suppose)

Dont have a prob with the agp lock here, then again i have yet to go past 245fsb. Temps i do have a problem with even tho im running stock heatsink. All in all i think its a good board, just wish the minor issues were resolved with it. Altho my next upgrade i think will be a DFI NF4 SLI board.

Anyone else have input it is appreciated.
