Well anywho, I was looking at your Inno3D 6600GT AGP pencil guide, I went out, grabbed my multimeter, tested everything (I have a XFX 6600GT AGP) but the resistance on the Inno3D and the XFX cards must differ, because I'm getting somewhere near 500ohms, and from ocforums in a thread You're reading it right, the XFX mod works just fine, you just need to take the resistance down to about 480 ohms, that nets me about 1.6v for my card The thing that gets me confused on this is... The diffrence in resistance on the diffrent makes

Is your default voltage the same as on the inno3d card?

Is the PCB exactly the same with the same voltage regulators?

If it is then the same mod should work, just be a little more carefull with the resistance, take it down to say 450, and test. You can allways add a litte more pencil if its not enough.

Personally I recomend using a 10K VR as its much more precice and safer.

I think you also should re-read the guide... as Vr-zone say that 370ohms is the target. NOT 480 as in your first post.

Pencil shade this resistor and bringing the resistance of it down from 420 ohms to 370ohms will give a +0.1v increase. Measure resistance before turning on the pc of course and go down slowly.

This weekend when I'm benching again, I'll take some measurements... and I think I know what I did wrong when taking the resistance
