When i try to flash in a new Bios for my ATI Branded X800 Pro it comes up with an error saying Adaptor 0 not found. How can this be, isnt adaptor 0 my video card? It is definatly there, it is found in windows as there and i can run 3dmark 05 and such so i know that its there, how come this isnt working.
I use flashrom 2.4 X800XTPE Bios, and i type in flashrom -f -p 0 filename.bin.
I also tried flashrom -p 0 filename.bin and it didnt work.
Why is it not finding my video card when it is in fact there?
Thanks for your help, it is greatly appreciated.

maybe you have to set up AGP as primary display device in your bios,
but don't know if this could help.

try, FLASHROM -i
to list your adapters with flashrom.
And have a look at techpowerup for other version, maybe an earlyer will work.
Good luck!
