Hey People,

Im wanting to update the BIOS for my KT7A-RAID yet, everywhere i go it tells me to boot into a pure DOS invironment. So under Win2000, do i simply go into "Safe Mode with Command Propmt" and just flash from there? And i presume i dont have to make a bootable floppy disk? As i really dont wanna muck this up

Thanks

It is best to make a bootable floppy. You can get a bootable pure dos floppy maker program from www.bootdisk.com. I use drdos703 and works great. :)

Don't do it from the safe mode in win2k i almost killed my cd writer by flashing it that way and now it's not working really well
