How did the 350 not work for you? the 650 has more free flow but the head on the 350 is a little higher, I believe that they are more or less the same when you consder the strain a normal system puts on the pump.

There won't be a big difference. The 350 is an excellent pump, why spend money for a minimal performance gain. With your setup I rather get another/bigger radiator.

the 350 quit working , So I needed to replace it. I thought this pump would handle a bigger Rad with no problem.

It quit working? Start Problems, or did you destroy that fine piece of german engineering? You ran distilled water wihtout glycol additive?
Anyway, if you do need a new pump, the mcp650/d4 is quite capable, although not as quiet as the mcp 350/ddc.

Unless you modded it, return the 350. Some of them had start problems, but it will be replaced and the newer ones I believe are fine.

The very first batch of pumps was having startup problems caused by having a 4+ A current requirement for proper startup (0.8 A at 12v during operation).
Yeah most the DDC/350 i've seen with start problems, were running without lubricating additive like ethylene glycol and the like. Once people mixed some corrossion protection/antifreeze/lubricant combo in their water, the problems disappeared. Few cases were caused by using small AC adapters that couldn't supply enough power for startup.

I had one that had an issue where it often failed to start, it is a known problem, and easy to RMA. I was able to do an advanced RMA directly to Swiftech.

Some of them have problems where they quit working after a short while. contact swiftech and they will handle the RMA for you. No need to spend money on something that wasnt your fault.

I was running a mixture of distilled and water wetter and a splash of bleach
Tried everything I could to get it to run. I'm in RMA process right now.Needed to get the computer up and running. Ill end up with a extra pump in the parts cabinet.
