Here is my 01 score, only at 10x250, no tweaks or nothing, just drivers on performance.

30.2k

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8542721 Card was run at 645/621, with water setup in sig, card never reaches 35C. :)

Wonder what i can get when i push this, hehehe.

Nature seems nice. ;)

Sorry to say that m8, but that score is WAY low for those clocks :S I got 500 points more with 240x10 and stock GPU. Also, 630/621 gives me 308fps Nature, so you're low there too.
Not trying to knock you or anything or put my scores above yours, just some friendly criticism Win2K & DX8.1 aside, there are a lot of points left in that rig. Have you done the Ricky tweak? What ddr timings are you running? Test order? Did you change vidcard mem timings with ATiTool as per eshbach's thread? Those GPU timings alone gave me ~7fps Nature. You're sure that drivers are set all the way to max perf in control panel?

Cheers.

Twilius is right. Nature is far from nice ..

Your GFX performance is way too low. WinXP is killing your score, and so is DX9.

With win2k, dx8.1 and cat 4.12 im getting 290 nature with only 600/600 on my XP PE. And thats without any special tweaks.

Win2k, DX8.1, ACPI Tweak .. and you´ll be hitting 31.5-32k easy.

Now.. show us what your rig can do :)

I did 290 (link in my sig) with a 600/600 card too. Win 2K and DX9.

Hmz, wat about my 3dmark 2k1se score?
Is my nature to low too? I have aplied the ricky tweak, and done the 3dmark tweaking guide from mackanz.
It's a x800pro vivo@16pipes@567/589
Rest of details system see this compare url:

still good :D

EL Snorro, your score looks fine for your clocks. Try running it with the faster memory speed that your sig has, I did my run with my memory at 273MHz and the CPU at 2730 MHz. The VC was at ~550/550 for the rest of the run except for nature and I think I sped it up on drag low. (Those are the only tests that are still VC limited)

LOL, talk about raining on my parade.

Well iam anything but a pro bencher, i do it for fun, and don't know many tweaks, well none infact. I don't have Windows 2000, nor will i ever get it.

Yes drivers are on perf. Timmings are of course 2-2-2-5, all others stock. 5.4 Cats, ive heard 4.12 Beta's are good for 01, might try them later.

No tweaks at all, thats probly why it's low. Im not a pro like you lot. :p:

Those are amazing gpu clocks, but your cpu at 2.5Ghz isnt doing anything. :( See if you can use a higher multi with lower clocks, like 245x11 (2.7ghz) which should help. Also, try this:

ricky tweak (set system to "multi processer APIC") in device manager
run real time (right click processes under task manager and set priority level)
run DL, LL, CH, DH, LH, N, CL one by one in that order and re run CL till you get a good one for 3d01
run>msconfig>boot diagnostics mode. Kills most un needed background processes. You have no internet tho so save scores and boot back into normal mode to upload.

In addition to which, go to desktop settings (where u change ur desktop resolution) and make sure under "Color Quality" its 16-bit color not 32-bit. Then do as the above says, after you've done the diagnostic start up thingy, have the x800 at those clocks, have the 3700+ higher, and have 3dmark2001se running, go to task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del)...right click on where it says 3dmark2001.exe and go to Set Priority and click on real time. Then click on explorer.exe and click end task. The Last thing with the Real Time thingy has to be performed in order ;) : make 3dmark2001se real time first then end explorer.exe. When you're done, save the score (u can submit it later) , restart normally (make sure in msconfig its not diagnostic startup) and submit score

You can submit scores without explorer running.

LOL, i don't think iam going to bother with all of these tweaks to get a higher score, i don't see the point, i mean it's not the hardware, then it's the software.

Also im benching 03 and 05 as well and i think 5.4Cats are better for that are they not?

I think ill focus on 03 and 05, where my strengths lie in my GPU clocks.

5.2s are best for 05 actually. And those tweaks are for your own good and can be performed rather easily, but if u dont wish to find the max of your rig, then perhaps this thread should've been posted in the less xtreme Graphics and other Programs section of the site

Srry if that came out a tad harsh, but this IS for xtreme benchies, not for 3700s !!!...at a meager 2.5 :shakes:

LOL.

Ive heard that the multi tweak thing, gives you less o/c and increases temps???

And im almost at 2600mhz, haven't finished yet, hoping for around 2700mhz, not that confident, don't have a great chip i think.

Less OC and more temps yes....but also a helluva lot more points...

craig588
04-22-2005, 06:38 PM
It didn't affect my temps really, it just added about 800 more points.

Ok ok, ill try it and the other tweaks soon, but only when i find my top CPU speed.

Can you reverse it, by doing rollback driver? I really don't wanna leave it like that.
