It's at the very least a NULL PS2, or more likely both.

The min FPS is way too high for a single 6600GT. Looks pretty close to right for two in SLI though.

the LOD "tweak" has been around since the TNT1.

excuse me, but what is the "LOD" tweak?

actually it may have been around since the Riva128, or 3dfx Voodoo Graphics (Voodoo 1).

LOD = Level of Detail. Its basically a setting which determins how detailed the mipmap levels your video card renders will be. If you use bilinear mipmaps in quake3 and set r_mips 1 you will see the color levels of the mipmaps (you can do this for trilinear also, but its less effective to see) and as you adjust this value lower or higher they will become more or less defined. You dont need to set r_mips 1 to see this when you set to extremely high or low values either, or even run quake3 for that matter. Just about anything 3D will look like a pot of soup with the minimum setting you can achieve.

Also make sure anisotropic filtering is disabled to show the differences.. and r_mips might not be the correct command (might be r_colormiplevels), its been a while.. ;)

well i got 68k on a 6600gt stock cooling, no vmods @ 590/1190 ... with no tweaking and on winxp sp2

im sure i couldve made 74/75k with tweaking, modding, water/pelt etc.....

its not impossible

Jeez guys chill...u want to have 'blah blah blah' fight go do it on Aqua's forums...seems everyone else on there does...

I just broke 81k myself, and it's funny cos someone on there said 'have you tried changing your LOD' and I didn't even know how, so I found out, went off and messed up my drivers with a tweaker, and got a lower score, and my Aquamark looked like someone had puked on the screen...

However, it's not a cheat cos it's not banned, so you either use it or not...

I won't cos I had to reload my drivers to get it all cleaned up :rolleyes: and since I don't have a clue how to change a null, or what it is, I probably won't be trying THAT one out either...

Anyways, if someone wants to use a tweak that's not banned, they can. I don't see half the arguments about any other Benchie that I do over Aquamark, and it's not even that great to watch :D

Ok, so let's break this down, shall we?

First off, SillySider has a 16 pipe card. You have an 8 pipe card. No 8 pipe card has the low end power to pull a higher min fps in that benchmark than the 16 pipe card.

30 min fps? HAHAHAHA.... right.

Second, the max fps thing. His cpu score is higher than yours. That alone will do it. It's tweaked better, it's just better, no getting around it. And, if he got a better cpu, the max fps would still go up. It's pretty damn hard to cheat cpu scores in Aquamark. And for that matter, how are you going to prove that SillySider is cheating? Null mostly messes with the min fps, that's the easiest way to spot the cheat. You have no grounds for argument, because your min fps is higher than his, which is impossible.

Well, this can all be proved easily enough. Post a Null PS1 score, a Null PS2 score, and a Null PS1 + PS2 score. If the numbers work, then I, and i'm sure SillySider will too, retract my statements. As of now though, not legit. I read the thread where you got called out on Aquamark forums as well, and Omni knew what he was talking about, so i'll trust that.

Oh, and why did you retract your score in the second post of this thread?

Well, i do believe there is this cool program, called Rivatuner. And yes, i do just so happen to know how to use it.

are you sure you aren't using Nullcheat...because 76K is allot and a single 6600Gt surely can't beat SillySiders 6800non ultra :rolleyes:

Aquamark have confirmed that LOD isn't banned and therefore is NOT a cheat...

They HAVE banned NULL and it therefore is a cheat...

It's not the spamming that's the biggest deal, it's the fact that it went from a 'what do you think, and how can I improve?' thread to a 'I know more about Aquamark than you' arguement...

Is that really fair to the original poster?
