Well i want to start with watercooling for 2 reasons. (My first time)

1. Better Temperatures / Maybe better OC results.
2. Getting some experience with watercooling.

I,m only going to cool my cpu with watercooling, My Budget is no more then 250 euro. Less then 250 euro would be even better :)

The shops where I prefer to order

www.freezinghardware.nl (dutch).
www.alphacool.de (german).
and maybe www.1a-cooling.de (not my favourite due long deliver times).

The setup i made on alphacool.de

Hose Pur 8/6mm high transparent
Screw connector AG 1/4'' on 8/6mm
Eheim Connectors (haven,t found them yet)
120x120x25 Xilence KP-12025M12S
Alphacool AGB4 Plexi 380
Black ICE-Pro III (without fan 3x120mm)
Eheim Universalpump 1250 220 Volt
CPU Alphacool NexXxoS XP Socket 754

This is where i was thinking about, if I order at alphacool.de
I now that those fans aren,t that good, but I don,t want to spend 50 euro on some fans. -Btw: what about the radiator (is it worth the money such a big radiator)

just another question how are these alphacool radiators. Alphacool NexXxoS Xtreme III (http://www.alphacool.de/perl/shop.pl?s=bf4d15cd2050aa370c66&l=2&rm=get_art&menu_id=2&prod_id=140&art_kz=141&art_id=14111) - Alphacool NexXxoS HC 360-LE (http://www.alphacool.de/perl/shop.pl?s=bf4d15cd2050aa370c66&l=2&rm=get_art&menu_id=2&prod_id=140&art_kz=141&art_id=14108)

and as final question is it worth it, or shall I just stick with my aircooling (CoolerMaster Hyper48).

Its for an Amd64 3200+ (939), Msi Neo2 Platinum, Chieftec BX Case (but i will make a external watercooling).

Thanks Guys :toast:

The alphacool radiators are essentially a black ice pro or a black ice extreme just modifed in some certain way. I'm sure the preformance will be about the same. As for the setup you couldn't wish for a better setup minus the eheim pump and get a http://www.alphacool.de/perl/shop.pl?s=fe174f8e8ec9e72dd96b&l=2&rm=show_art&menu_id=2&prod_id=130&art_kz=139# modifed to 1/2 fittings instead.

Thanks for your response idleuser

So basicly i could bether take a alphacool radiator wich will safe me some extra money, also wich of those 2 radiators shall I take the Extreme or the LE.

But i don,t realy agree with you on the pump, if i look to the specs - I see that the eheim pump is much more powerfull. (I belive those pump,s where you are talking about are verry small pump,s). Or am I wrong on this

I think that a 1200 l/h (Eheim 1250 pump) should be enough for a system with only a cpu block.

Also what kind of radiator shall i take Single, Double, Triple. I selected the triple one becaus i thought it would transfer more heat. Or isn,t a triple not worth it, and shall i just take a double or single.

hugo, the liang ddc pro is one of the best pumps you can buy right now besides the aquaextreme 50z. The flow rates on a pump does matter to a certain extent but it's the amount of head ft. it can push out. The eheim is an ok pump at best but you wouldn't be able to make the nexxxos xp shine like you would with a DDC pump with 1/2 fittings.

Personally i'll take the III since it looks like a reincrnation of the Black Ice Extreme III.

I see the point, but i have to say that,s not a cheap pump  (although i probably can affort it)

Also something completley diffrent but i would like to know, I have seen a passive radiator on alphacool (I now that it doesn,t have much OC potential).

like this one http://www.alphacool.de/perl/shop.pl?s=fe174f8e8ec9e72dd96b&l=2&rm=get_art&menu_id=2&prod_id=140&art_kz=149&art_id=14908#

can you get decent temperatures with passive coolers, (Becaus i would like to give up some OC potential for a passive cooler) + I don,t have to mod my case any more becaus this radiator already make,s it look good :slobber:

nice setup :) although I'm not too sure of the fans since I never heard of them.
