hi just curious, i am getting the asus nforce2 to go with my 2400+ aiugb and to cool the 2400+ i am thinking of getting the slk-800 and the thermaltake smartfan 2 w/ coolmods. I hear the northbridge gets very hot on the asus mobo so im curious if i should go for a vantec iceberq or a crystal orb to cool that? all suggestions are appreciated thanks

sure, i don't think that better cooling for the northbridge could hurt anything.

i'd probably just attach a fan to whatever heatsink is already being used though.

oh, some people are finding that the sk7 outpreforms the slk800. you may want to look into that, it's cheaper and it can use 60, 70 and 80mm fans.

Wow, at one of the first events (San Diego) they were only giving away 2100's, then next I hear they were giving out 2200's... Now they're giving out 2400's, goodness! I'm going to the City of Industry event, I better win!
