I'm using the Weaponcore 302 with 2*120mm fans, and I'm wondering what the CFM rating for the fans I'm using should be. I know that the higher the better performance I'd get but basically what's the entrance level I'm looking at and what you'd recommend.

Also, I'm thinking about sticking some ice cubes in my reservoir for a few hours to run a couple really high benchmarks. Is this a bad idea? I'm kinda worried about little bits of ice getting sucked through the tubing and damaging components, and the negative (if any) effects the lower temperature may have.

Ah, also while I'm on a roll what kind of difference would I see seperating my CPU and GPU on entirely seperate loops, would it be worth the extra money or would I just be better off using a single loop for both.

i haven't set up wc yet but, i'm gonna say ice cubes is bad. it would probably mess your pump up when it becomes small enough. also, the cubes could create condensation around your tubings, and do some damage.

opinion from a nub ;)

I would keep the both the CPU and GPU on the same loop. You're not gonna gain much lower temps idf you have them on seperate loops.

Get the Panaflo M1A's. 120x38mm is their most important spec because of the extra thickness. They have good static pressure, 80+cfm of flow, and are relatively quiet at around 33dba shrouded.

The best way to use ice to chill your water, is to fill up 2L bottles (not right to the top, as when the water freezes, it'll expand), or whatever you can find. Place these into a large container, like a cooler box, and fill the cooler box with water for the loop. Make sure the tubes will remain under the surface. Baically, the 2L ice bottles will cool the water in the cooler box. :)

Now, using ice poses a big risk, as you will get condensation. You'll need to have something to "mop it up" as it forms. Using tissues will help.

PM should you need a pictures.

I killed a videocard using ice in my evap tower because the cheap tubing i was using at the time shrunk a bit and cause a leak
