LCBBE E6 4000+
here's pushing the RAM along with the CPU and this is highest I could validate
http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=195087
Then here's taking the ram out of the equation and just pushing the cpu and here's the max validation
http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=195094
-----------
then here is 100% stable/ (8 hours memtest and orthos and 32MB super pi mod)

3700+ @ 2.92 -- will go higher (got it at near 3.3 GHz on HWBot in CPU-Z)
Also slightly limited by my RAM... go figure, lol! PROMOS -- 2-3-2-0 @ 184 MHz, 2.5v with more extremely tight sub-timings
1) I lapped it in a haste, so I forgot to write down the numbers.
2) 1.54
3) That was done with a 7000B-Cu... I have a BT with a TriCool on it now, and haven't bothered upping it.
4) Software based I have 43c load on core (both surfaces lapped)
5) See sig, and the pic below:
6) 30 hours in Orthos

Sorry for killing the page ;)
I've got 2# of these lil' critters(XP4000 S-D's) Stepping's as follows.
A:#. LCB9E 0643TPMW
B:#. LCBBE 0643STMW
I'm sorta' wonderin' which 1 I ougghta' rip the top off of and plugg in first. Or if either of them will out run my ol' opty. Kinda' looks like the LCB9E might have a pretty good chance. The other has a chance too. Whaddaya's think?
Edit: Nutha' thing are these really S-D's or dual-cores with 1/2 disabled?
Thanks much, folks....
I'll figure it out pretty soon I think. I'll post results.
Edit: I cut the top off the "LCBBE 0643STMW" Processor and discovered that it is indeed a dual-core with 1/2 disabled.(Not a San Diego) But since it's sold as a san diego.and others have posted these new processors as such. might as well post it up here myself. I'm presure testing my rebuilt loop now. So sometime on the morrow.(Hopefully) I'll have some first resulkts I'll just edit this post. (No sense in double posting) LOL ;)
Edit here: Not bad...

Well this CPU is going to be retired today but it did a good job.
A64 4000+ OC 3.0 Ghz on Air 1.5 volt no voltage or timing changed to the ram. 250 FSB x 12 multi nice and simple. Mem at 500mhz

Should have included more with that screenie but that's at 3180 Mhz 265 on the bus as you can see. ~1.56v 12 multi 1:1 RAM and stock voltage on the RAM. If I had the patience I know I could easily get over 3.2 Ghz but being a single core AMD means no one cares anymore lol.

The best I have gotten my FX-55 to was 3.0ghz on air cooling, this was before I downloaded cpu-z, I might try to mess with it some more..

but as of right now here is what I run it at due to stability issues

Hi All,
First time posting here. I have been reading a lot on this site and it has helped me understand overclocking the A64 immensely. I had a basic idea before, but now understand completly. Now for my O/C: 234 x 12 = 2808 MHz, HTT is at 936. Ram is not Redline, but is next best thing: Mushkin 2-3-2-6 two 1 gig sticks (play BF2) @ 2.5-3-2-6 1.6v. Everything seems to be very stable with CPU at default voltage, which is below 1.35v at 1.31-1.33v. CPU temps never excede 52C on full load. May have to get better cooling when summer comes again. Will post some screen shots later.
