ok, heres a basic guide just for starters, im working on a longer and much more detailed guide, but i figured it would be better to have a basic guide up until i finish the long detailed guide :)

here is a list of the most important forum sections with a description of what threads should be posted in them. if this doesnt help you then please dont just post in one of the sections but pm a mod :)


Xtreme Overclocking
this section is for xtreme cpu and system overclocks only.
xtreme in this case means extraordinary or above average, if you dont know if your results are ok to post in this section just pm a mod and ask him :)

Xtreme Bandwidth
this section is for all memory related topics

Xtreme 3D Team
this section is for all 3D related topics, videocard overclocking and 3D benchmark results

AMD
this section is for all amd overclocking results, questions about amd cpus or systems

Intel
this section is for all intel overclocking results, questions about intel cpus or systems

Wampeteers, Foma, & Granfaloons
this is the basic chat section of this forum

Computer related open discussion
this section is for all theoretical computer related discussions

Forum comments
this is the place to post if you have a problem or a question regarding the forums

Good idea Saaya, i guess we will see if this acutally helps the problem.

Edit - I think it would be a good idea to make this an Announcment so that people have a better chance of seeing it.

erm ... this helps me out nothing what so ever im a n00b :) all i can do is read and be very confused :S this is my system what can i do to make it run better and get the most out of it ??

I know this is 3 years old but, shouldn't it be updated? Im a newbie(for now) and I couldn't seem to find "Computer related open discussion" only to find that it is called "Tech Talk" now :\
