Hi, I was using the latest CBId version when I saw this P-State tab. I've been having some reporting issues with SmartGuardian because I think that it reports +10°c for the CPU temp. Does this setting of Thermal Offset in CBId means that SmartGuardian is reporting +10°c higher than it should be?

Thanks.

What readings are you getting from SmartGuardian For CPU, PWMIC and System?

Are you talking about the thermal offset? if you are, what bios are you using and what readings for CPU temp are you getting from SmartGuardian?

thanks in advance.

there is a massive thread about this over at the DFI forums, its a known problem , and is most likely down to the 754 cpu's, the newer cores seem to show the right sort of temps, but my old 0417 shows temps about 10 C to high at least.

Yeah my thermal offset is 18C. Im using the 10/15(I think, it's the latest one with 4v support) BIOS. My SG reads ~34c idle at 2.75ghz.

my thermal offset is -1c so i am confused. does that mean that the maxTcase is 1c less than what it is showing? my MaxTcase is 59c...
