Just want to know if there are any 3rd party/modded BIOS's out there for the A8N-SLI dlx. Theres a few out for the DFI NF4 board, but I haven't found any for the Asus!
never heard about any modded bios... we'll see if somebody knows something!

coz its hard to mod ASUS bios... :-/
in bios 1007.004 is possible to set the vcore up to 1.65 volts. until wich voltage i can run my winnie without burning it??i'm air cooled

All BIOS's (that I've used) have the option of going to 1.65, and for me, CPU-Z reports something like 1.68 when at 1.65.

Agreed, max I can get is 1.6v with a winchester...

Yup, anything from 1.55 upwards reports 1.568 in CPU-Z for me, Winchester of course.

Makes a difference for max voltage, it does. (i swear I didn't mean to sound like yoda, just came out that way)

You can also try the Vmods. I can't remember where you solder but you need a 10K pot or fixed resistor.
