just made a new computer... a major problem!

i just built a new computer for my parents, and the 1st time i boot it up everything worked fine i went into bios changed the 1st boot device to cd rom, and left everything as is. did the 1st parts of windows xp install. and the computer rebooted, it came up to the window xp screen. (u know the black one when ** computer is booting up) then after a few seconds it went to a blue screen saying theres an error blah blah, and if this is the 1st tiem us ee it u should reboot computer, or if it second time u should check the memory gfx card, etc...

so i rebooted, but now the computer will get STUCK at the 1st screen, the one where it check memory and all the IDE devices, also whast even worse when i press DEL key it just says loading setup! and then it just stays in the same screen... so i cant even enter bios! i tried resetting the bios, it still does the same thing and get stuck... any1 know whats wrong? thanks, bye.

well clear the cmos, there should be a jumper by the little battery on the board, switch it over then put it back to where it was then get into bios, and load fail safe options

loosen timings t 3-4-4-8 and vdimm to 2.8

btw what are specs, it helps sometime****future reference*******
