Im planning to upgrade my existing xp2200+ and asus a7v 600. But im not quite sure what to pick as a replacement... I was thinking of these 2 options:
mobo : Asus P4P800SE i865PE/800FSB/DDR400/GBLAN
proc : Intel P4 3,00 GHz HT 800FSB
or
mobo : MSI K8N Neo2 DDR400 AGP8x ATX S-ATA RAID
proc : AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Socket-939 (winchester)

What do u think is best for ocing/benchmarking.. U can also name me some alternatives.. I wanted to spend arounf 300 euro's(im only 15 so thats why;))

I doubt a person with an avatar that states "AMD Athlon: Whoop-Ass Inside" was going to choose the first option in the first place.

However, if you wait a tad longer, you can get a 3000+ AMD with Venice core will easily destroy a Winnie (Late-week) right now. And also, there have been SO many CBBID winnies lately that such at overclocking cos AMD ran out of ones that did overclock well, so you'd have a greater chance of getting a bad chip now, unless u wait for the Venice Core AMDs at pretty much the same price in a couple of weeks.

in terms of gaming..you'll have to run that 3ghz intel at 3.5 ghz to match stock 3000+ at gaming :/

^That's a review of the 3800+, but the 3000+ shouldn't be clock too much worse, and it gives you an idea of the performance gain Venice (new core) has over Winchester (old core).
