Guys I have a couple of sticks of TwiMos PC3200 my chips reads as follows:
Winbond
2302D
W942508BH-5
I have no problem running these at cas2,1t at 212fsb on my KX7 and my board maxes out at 218 in which I can hit cas2, 2t.
Don't know what to tell ya. I bought mine here http://www.hardwaregods.net/twinmos.html The prices have gone up since I purchased them.:(

Also they kicked A$$ on my KD7, no problems at 210fsb at cas2, 1t but data corruption stops be from saving any bench.
Will be testing them on a BE7 later on today.

hmmm
have a twinmos dont make the chips them selves afaik, so check on the site, and see what that code represents.
I'm presuming the 05 means 5ns.

No idea. You might have the Samsung version on your modules. If so I know for a fact those are -5ns chips but they come with a lock SPD file which means SPD timings at 200fsb. Basically the same chips on Samsung PC3200 on TwinMos PCB. Not TwinMos's fault. Xtremeddr is do the same thing.
Return and get the Winbond chips.

so does this mean i cannot change timings and am stuck on SPD mate ? Otherwise are they meant to be PAP overclockers ?

Yes thats correct. Only way to get more aggressive timings is to lower your FSB. I have some Xtremeddr based on Sammy TC4 chips which I think you guys have. Anything over 190 resulted in SPD timings but I could run 1t beyond 200.
Like I said return them.

just checked the data sheets and there is no indication of such modules on there !
Samsung DIMM classfication is done in the following manner
K 4 X X X X X X X X - X X X X X X X
And mine doesnt fit the pattern im affraid
if mine were Samsung chips datasheets indicate this should be the number
K4H560838C
puzzling

Ok then but you still don't have the better Winbond chips.
I say Samsung cause a few weeks ago someone mentioned on this site that TwinMos uses both Samsung and Winbond on their PC3200 which I didn't know about the Sammy.

Just did a google of TMD7608F8E50B , and got loads of results.
Most of them however tend to realte to a mobo compatability table.
http://www.xbitlabs.com/mainboards/msi-kt4-ultra/
There's one here that lists it as just twinmos, rather thant twinmos/winbond.

If its not reaching DDR400, then you can rightfully send it back :)
I'm pretty sure that addonsonline.co.uk have winbond chips.

VM,
I also have Twinmos chips on a twinmos PCB and have been VERY impressed with them. They are winbond chips, just re-branded with the twinmos logo.
I can get 243mhz @ 2/6/2/2 out of mine on an IT7 Max2 v2.0 using only 2.76vdimm.
Cant get you codes cos ive put an akasa copper spreader on and I cant get the damn thing off :p. The stick itself is about 3 - 4 months old though, so its not a new shipment.
Burn in helps lots with this ram m8, dont dismiss it so quickly.
Manually set your timings to 2/5/2/2 1T 4 bank interleave and 8 level burst length. Set your vdimm to 2.5v and your FSB to 166mhz. Find your max stable speed at the above settings. Knock it up 1fsb form that and take your vdimm to 2.7v. Run something like seti or folding for a good 24 to 48 hours solid. Then go back into bios, drop back to 2.5v and raise your fsb again until it gets unstable. This should gain you an easy 15mhz over the course of 2 weeks or so. Tras doesnt become an issue until 215mhz or so on this particular stick, but if I were you id run it at 7 anyway unless youre benching or burning in.
Let me know how it goes.
PiLsY.

Ok guys, if you werent aware, all Komplett shippings (they have web pages for atleast 6 european countries) come from Norway, so dont be surprised and say something like "umm, they sent it from their Norway" :)
