just a question, on my mobo, you can change the fsb to 100, 105 , 110, and 130. Would it make a diff if i raised the fsb but dropped the multiplier?

Dont P4s have a multi locked at 15x?

i have no idea, in the manual it says u can raise the bus frquency up too 130. my p4 prob wont even go that high because its a williamette.

I know for sure the Northwood and prescott multis are locked so i bet the williamettes are locked as well.

well williamettes dont clock so well. Anyways thx for the help, i was just wondering.

yes, its locked. Intel chips have been locked for awhile now...I think it was after the Pentium 1 they started locking there chips.
