Mach sensors are very inaccurate. But what are your stressed temps? Because if you have -55C with no load perhaps theres a leak somewhere ?!

That ice is normal for uninsulated suction lines, but seeing as you have two sets of electrical wires near by you should insulate that asap to be sure nothing happens, it will give slitly better temperature too, since you are losing cold that way.

This is because he has no load on it. This isn't very good for your compressor, cold liquid is prolly leaking back into the suction line (this makes a sound like a frying pan). This can kill your compressor.

Extra insulation is a very good idea, but this ice will not form if you have a load on the head.

The wires are for the heater (inside the head) and the temp sensor (which doesn't really tell you much of anything. The red are for the heater, the gray are for the temprature probe.
