Just got my PowerColor X850XT/DFI LanParty NF4 SLI-D a few days ago...

My card comes without the VIVO feature, I just can't seem to find a VIVO or X850XT PE card anywhere in Australia...

Re-installed WinXP & then installed the latest Catalyst drivers...

Was trying to look in the Control Panel for for the "Overdrive" feature but it's not there...

What I wanted to do was this:

I wanted to modify either the ATI or Sapphire X850XT PE bios & take out the VIVO feature & then flash it onto my X850XT in order to get the "Overdrive" feature...

The reason for me wanting the "Overdrive" feature is so that I can monitor the GPU's temps through the Control Panel...

I know I can just use ATItool but it's not the same...

Any ideas?? There is "RabiT Radeon Bios Editor" that recognises the (old??) X800 series cards but it don't seem to work with the X850 Series cards...

Any ideas/tips/help apppreciated.

Looked up on mvktech's website for the newer RabiT 1.7 & that did the trick....

Thanks to someone else's earlier post here at XS I found the bios editor for the X850 Series cards...

Runs X850XT speeds + like a gem... woot!!

Now, to get my VX4000 to run 200 @ 2-2-2-8 @ 3.3v w/out it erroring out would be a plus...

For those who are looking for the bios editor, here's the link:

I hope they don't mind me linking to their site...
