Hi, i got a nvidia fx5200 hooked up to the my 57" Hitatchi hdtv using dvi, i can't get the bloody thing to line up no matter what res, 1080i set in the software and on the tv. From 800x600 to 19 something same differnce. Little help would be good, I can get the top lined up so you can see the top or the bottom or the sides lined up so, you can see sides but not the top or bottom its really annoying. Come on you display guru's help :toast: Thanks

Checkout a utility called PowerStrip that will let you set your res and refresh rate to whatever you like/need. I used to use this on my HTPC until ATI finally came out with drivers that supported the res/refresh rate I used anyway so then there was no need for it.

Nividea has a create own refresh rate in the driver i tried 60-75 no differnce. Is the powerstrip version of this better?

You just have more control with PowerStrip is all for custom reses and stuff, however, it should still work without it. Something else must not be right. Avsforum is a good place for information about this kind of stuff.
