Hi,

I have been researching power supplies and kinda decided to go with something less expensive (not cheap) until I actually have an SLI/AMR setup (then Ill get a pcp&c...hehe) I found a place where I can get the OCZ Modstream 520 for $99 shipped (before this I was considering the OCZ Powerstream 520) I plan to build the following:

3500+ Venice
DFI Ultra-D
OCZ TCCD PC4800
ATI X800 XL
SATA DVD Burner
Seagate 7200.8 HD
Tsunami Dream (3 fans - 2 120mm, 1 90mm) with Zalman or XP120 on CPU

I plan to run the the memory at about 300x9 since it's rated DDR600, putting my Venice at about 2700 if it can do it.

Now, with the OCZ Modstream with its 28A 12v rail be enough for this? It being single rail will help I think. It's such a good price too. I read everything pertaining to this ps on this forum and it seems people are overclocking well with it, but if I remember correctly I think someof those people had 6600GTs so I was wondering if I will be OK with this? Any user accounts with this ps unit and overclocking with decent peripherals would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The Modstream will be fine for your system.

yeah even a 420w powerstream OCZ would do well in that setup
