I have my mach 1 (unmodded) hooked up to my axp mobile 2500+...

so the other day, i decided to turn off the system as my room was starting to warm up due to the unusually warm temperatures that have hit this area recently...

so i turned it off... and i turned it back on the next day and noticed something interesting...

with no load power off the mach 1 displays a temp of -51C.

with 100% load, the temp will drop to around -32C.

however now when i turn it on, it still goes to -51C but when the computer is turned on the temp unloaded goes down to -36... then start watching tv putting the cpu use around 15% and my temps on my prommy unit start heating up...

-32.. -31...-26.... 0... 5.... 10... and at this point i turn off my computer...

so between the day i turned it off and on, i did nothing to it...

i know i have good contact between the core and head unit as i've double checked it...

is my prommy broken? or is my chip really generating tha tmuch heat all of a sudden?

i don't know if it's just mine because it's regassed and modded, but if i turn it off, then right back on without waiting a few minutes the temps will climb.

Check out the hose for leaks, there is a certain place, the hoses like to scratch, maybe there is only no more gas in, so it should be soldered and regassed.

If you turn it on again the temp still goes down to -51?

Does the compressor sound like it runs normally?

What's the temp of the compressor and condenser? (You can just feel with your hand)

When the fan('s) slow down are you sure they don't stop?

If you turn it on too fast after you shut it down you can damage your compressor, in the mach 2 they've got a reset timer installed for this.

looks like my temps don't drop :(

also the back of the mounting head gets pretty warm... it's never been this warm before...

:(

after being on for about 4 minutes or so it just gives me one long beep until i turn it off...

It's prolly sprung a leak. You should bring it to someone who knows how to find it and fix it.

Do not run it when it has a leak; this will destroy your compressor.

Bad news Shimmy.... she has developed a refrigerant leak.

Check the length of the evap tube and look for an
oily residue showing up on/around the insulation.
