I have a 3.06 with an IT7-MAX2v2. In the BIOS from abit if i enable hyperthreading then APIC is automatically enabled. Ive always disabled APIC since with in enabled it always caused problems with my Audigy. I flashed my BIOS with the modded C7 bios and now i can enable hyperthreading and disable APIC and yet when i run any cpu benchies hyperthreading IS NOT on???

Any ideas, should i just leave hyperthreading off?? Why if i have it enabled in BIOS is it not working??? Does it have something to do with APIC being DISABLED??

Also if you look at my 3dmark compare you will see that my car low test is WAY lower than it should be, i know why dragothic and nature are low(i havent modded my 9700 yet and it wont overclock for §§§§e), but i cant seem to figure out why my car low test is so PITIFUL

Confirm the HT works, when enabled you should have 2 CPU's in the device manager under "processors" and in sandra it should show both CPU's.

Disable HT and they should dissappear.

HT does work as long as i enable APIC. I was just wondering why it only works when APIC is enabled

Still looks pretty good to me! I 'm still trying to get the hang of 3dMK2001! PITIFUL...if your car chase is pitiful, then mine must be...intel celeron-ish:D

I thought that only WinXP supported HT. Or does W2k support HT too?

Bingo. Win2K does not support HT correctly...
