Hi!

First off, I'd like to say that I know very little about cascades/autocascades. Hence, my first question: what is the difference between a cascade and a autocascade?

Secondly, I have read this:

http://www.vr-zone.com/index.cgi?i=714&s=1

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=54668

Now, I plan on building a system with one compressor to cool my CPU. So, your suggestions? What compressor should I be looking for when I go over to the junkyard (I can spend a little bit of money on this, but I will probably by a block, tools and other things for that)? What scheme should I follow? Any general tips welcome.

Thanks for your help and sorry for being such a newbie - we all start someday

there are a heap of drawings in the stickys at the top, just look at the cascade/autocascade stickies.

but what ya really need is the basic drawing of a single stage.
there a several projects ppl doing at moment have a flick through those.

a compressor ranging between 1/5hp and 1hp should be fine.
1/2Hp make nice single stage coolers.

Is this a good scheme to follow?
