View Full Version : Just got my new AC Unit

Just got my new AC Unit ! The compressor is a 6000 BTU Compressor,

Here are the specs:

Rechi Percision
Ref: R-22
Model: 39R141B

I'll be taking pics this week hopefully, so you guys can see it. I don't really know where to start, and I need a good audiance that could help me out. The evap will be Chilly1's evap, and I already have the evap and the insulation.

I just need some adive on how to get started, since I am a newbie at this.

post a list of what you have and a list of what you think you need.you will get a lot of help editing those lists. don't forget to list the tools also. walt

Got any other part's besides what you've stated.

Tools aren't a problem lol.

What I have:

*Compressor
*Condenser
*Fan ( on condensor )
*Mounting (for everything)
_________________________

What I do NOT have:

*evap
*tubing
*mounting plate

I think that's about it. Do I need any gauges to test the PSI for leaks ?

you should have a refrigeration service manifold, with hoses,naturally.make sure they are 1/4 sae or you will need adapter if they are acme.
