Currently, I have 2 6800GTs running on the EPS12V version of Antecs True550. Since it does not have any 6 pin connectors natively, I am using adapters. Ever since I installed the cards, my 12v rail is down from 12.04 to 11.75 volts. The system seems generally ok.....except for a couple of things. Firstly, either card ALONE OCs well enough, but in SLI, I cant get them too high at all. Is that PSU related? Secondly, last night while running EVERYTHING at stock speeds, the system just restarted randomly during an HL2 game. It was fine after that, but that kind of thing worries me. Anyway, Should I replace my PSU with a dual 6 pin SLI PSU? so that to not overload parts of it the wrong way? And if so, how does this one look?

That PSU you linked looks very nice. If you want the best you could get the PCP&C 510W SLI, but it comes w/ a heavy price tag.

Yeah, that Enermax is the cheapest SLI cert PSU I could find. And I like enermax anyway.

I have only seen two that were SLI certified: PCP&C 510W and Silverstone 650, and that Enermax is a helluva lot cheaper than those two.

Well, I dont mean SLI "cert" really, I couldnt care less about nvidias "official" PSUs. But I mean PSUs that have 2 6 pin connectors. Enermax makes 2, the 535 and the 600, Thermaltake makes a 680, PCP&C makes 2, the 510 and the 850, and silverstone makes a 650.

Yes, this can DEFINATELY be a PSU prob. I had tried 3 different PSU's on my a8n-sli rig with dual 6800gt's and I had the same problem, where my individual overclocks were 425 1170 and then when I ran them both together they could barely run 400 1050 without stability issues.

I am now on a PC Power and Cooling 510 SLI and they clock at 425 1170 wihtout a hitch...

I also gained significant stable overclock in SLI when I moved from an Antec NEO to the PCP&C 510 SLI. The PSU does make a big difference in SLI.

Alright, I'll order a new one then.
