EVGA 6800GT PCI-E to XFX 6800GT PCI-E

I've done the EVGA 6800GT PCI-E (which I have) to Ultra PCI-E it worked fine. (It's at GT BIOS now tho) But I wanna flash the XFX 6800GT PCI-E BIOS, is it safe?

And, are the number of pixel piplines and vertex shaders determined in the BIOS because if not I'd REALLY like to flash the 6600GT BIOS because of the insane clocks speeds.

huh? you want to flash a 6800gt to a 6600gt? I think you should go the way :rehab: went, b/c you seem to have been hittin the pipe a little too much...
