Hi
Instead of buying a compressor, condensor and so on, i think it will be easier if i bought a Mach cooling unit and got me some hands-on-experience with the unit first.
Im interested in the Mach unit because the go fairly cheap over teh net and they larger compressores than Asetek's Vapochill has.
But, does anyone know the difference between the two model series, as far as i can recall the Mach II unit, both ST and GT have a NL11F compressor. But i don't know which compressor the Mach I uses.

R134A <-> R404
longer captube <-> shorter captube
Simple hardware controller <-> Extended micro-controller based controller
black or white <-> Different sets/fronts etc.
Heater only in the headpiece <-> Heater in headpiece and at the back of the motherbord
Simple isolation <-> Bit better isolation (not good for 24/7)
My opinion: Buy a Mach I (Isn't really called a mach I but I know what you mean)
Refill with R507 or alike and the difference is 2 degrees C max.
If you got skills you can make your own controller (very easy, I have pinouts and schematics)
The orginal prom uses the exact same compressor, exact same condensor etc.
Only real hardware cooling difference is the capsize, Mach II has a bit shorter for extra capacity.

Sorry but longer captube means less capacity.

the machII has a larger compressor..
furthermore, the machII GT has an even larger capacity due to r404a being able to remove more heat than r134a, not the longer captube.

I'd like to hear more about this if you don't mind :) :toast:

The Mach2 has the same compressor...

Oops, meant it the other way around, thanks for correcting me :toast:
If you decide you want a mach 1 I have one and a Lian Li pc65B modded to use with the mach 1(hose hole cut in bottom of case, mounting holes drilled) for sale right now. Although I'm not sure how much shipping would cost for an item this size/weight overseas.
