They have reports in from bonda aceh, and if there was a tsunami created it would have hit there 2 hours ago, so it looks like the quake did not create a tsunami, at least of any appreciable size this time.

his last clue was what did it. only a few members have WR's here. once he said it was a world record, searching macci made sense...most of the other WR holders are admin. already searched fugger's posts, and saaya's, as well as chilly1 and opp and pcice. i don't know who all is admin, so i had to go one by one. it was almost macci's first post..we probably all searched the same way, and the delay in searched might have slowed things down a bit. i wish i woulda looked at macci's posts lastnight, when the server wasn't so backlogged!

i see one post, then at the top its a list of all of the posts made. I didnt change it to this, it was done automatically, i thought maybe the admins did it becuase my setting said "use forum default"

You just clicked one of the linked topics here that had the threaded variable enabled.
To fix it change your display mode on the top left to linear.

I think i'm being tempted. My current set up is an XP2500 @ 2.4 Ghz, NF7, r9800 etc. I'm very tempted to rip it all out and put this new stuff in with a Venice and a nice new gfx card. However, if I do that i know i'll spend the next few months playing with it and not doing anything else. Then I'll bugger up my exams. You see, I'm an impoverished student who's trying to save enough money to do an MA and avoid getting a real job. The other option is to sell the motherboard and keep the memory. At the moment I've got a gig of crappy Twinmos that refuses to do anything above 200 Mhz. I could then fool around with the memory and hopefully keep my overclocking urges at bay. But then I'd feel sorry for the memory being stuck in my lame PC, and I'd want to upgrade everything around it.
