I picked up a little 2.4 Prescott a couple weeks ago for use in my Lan machine. I payed less then $150 for the chip and was putting together a machine just for gaming, so I slapped in a Asus P4C-800E and this little 2.4 Prescott just to see what it would do. With only 533FSB, there was plenty of room to work with, even with cheap DDR400. Keep in mind, this is all on air and this machine is ROCK SOLID, I can play games all day without going above 47c. Check out the temps at zero load on the CPU.

Imagine what this little baby would do on a VapoChill or even water...I may have to open it up a bit more in the next couple weeks.

Very nice, but in the $150 price range is my used 530 @ 4100mhz :D

In any case very impressive OC % :toast:

Its a E0 stepping I believe, HT is disabled on the chip, but HT isnt really needed just for gaming. It still pulls 40sec on Super PI @ 1.5v.

Actually I got the chip for free, from a buddy who upgraded and got the motherboard from a friend who owns a puter store for $50. I think they are down to about $120 now on pricewatch though. I got it to run @190fsb yesterday, but not real stable. Thats 42%....Im pretty happy with it!
