so far im not pleased at all with the performance i am getting from this thing now i have had this board for a few months now running DC but yesterday i put in my Factory unlocked Xp-2000+ tbred and my Corsair PC3500 DDRAM now the board is unstable at anything beyond 200MHZ FSBat 210 it wont even boot ive tried all the different voltage setting i know right now i dont need the Vcore and Vdimm mods because my PC3500 should do an easy 220MHZ at default voltage all the DRAM timings in BIOS are at the default this board just is not very stable at all now most people have been able to get an easy 220-225MHX FSB out of there board now how are they doing this?

What specific settings/timings give you the highest Overclock? You said you tried all different voltages, but that the RAM "should" acheive these speeds at default. But you have tried increasing the DDR Voltage? Here's the latest BIOS kx7b6 version (although I doubt that's the problem):

I know with my KX7-333 I really had to play with the timings to find a stable overclocking environment above 184MHz. There's additional option RAM settings, I just can't remember how go get into it. It opens an entire 2nd page of Memory settings. It's either F11 or something like that, I couldn't find it in the manual, but I've been into the extended memory options so I know it exsts. I'll try to find it.

The most recent, kx7b6. The link I provided brings you to Abit's download page for it. Turn to page C2-C4 in your manual (at the back) it describes the process in full detail. There's also several "How to's" on the page I provided the link to. Remember to substitute kx7_b6.bin /cc /cd /cp /py /sn /cks /r
Don't type in se6_sw.bin that's just the example, the rest of the switches are correct. Of course this is after you download, unzip, then format a floppy (system disc) and copy Awardflash.exe and the BIOS bin file to that disc. Flash the BIOS in pure DOS mode, from the floppy type: A:\ kx7_b6.bin /cc /cd /cp /py /sn /cks /r
Here's a more direct link to the download, chose Abit FAE server.

By the way, I don't think it's necessarily the BIOS, but it's better to have latest version. Have you tried 5:2:1 divider when OCing?
