Is it possible to run the GFX in the lower PCI-E slot?

The Lower slot is only PCI-E 2x, dont use it until you want to have 4 video output or SLI mod ;)

Hi guys! This is my first post here at Xtreme Systems.

I just wanted to comment that, it is possible to run your videocard on the second physical PCIe 16x slot. I did it to my 6800GT last night. All you have to do is set your SLi jumps to SLi mode, and move the videocard to the second slot.

The nVidia control panel says the card is runnong on 8x so it should be working properly.

My 3DMark 03 score went up 23 points..heh.. :slobber:
