Do pag and ester oil mix in r134a system? I put a can of mixed r134a and some pag oil in i was wondering if they mixed or this would cause probelms?

thanks man, now to vaccum it out (since it had too much oil in the can clogged something, the high side was at 300 psi with r134a probaly trying to compress the oil haha) and then just put plain r134a in

overcharging can cause high head pressure too, are you getting refrigerant returning to compressor? the suction line should be cold.

well i tried to charge and I found out there is a huge leak in the evap somewhere since it spurts out refrigerant, but i have it in this plastic thing with foam in it....., SOunds like i need a new evap now... ugh...

if your evap is fined copper tubing you can carefully remove the fins to gain access(if needed) and braze shut the leak. walt

I beleive he is working on a auto evaporator,somtimes the tubing is copper and sometimes aluminiun. the latter is hard to repair. walt
