When will this thingy hit the European market? Because it's not much use to have a bios but no adapter :D

think the CT479 would work on other brand boards such as Abit for example?

If they make a bios to support it, it would probably work fine.

The link does'nt work :(
I've got a P4C800-E Deluxe, and I've been looking at this little thingie.. it's too bad the dothans are so fricking expensive! The performance is a little up and down to say the least (look (http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/showdoc.aspx?i=2382)) but at least it looks like a killer in games :P Also they could clock a bit further I think :P .. Also, it's VERY bad that the CT479 doesn't support adjusting the vcore! :stick:

Thanks anyways :D Nice to see my mortherboard supported of course :D

like i said in the other thread, bioses MIGHT not be needed to get it to post and stuff, but they might be needed to add a name string. we shoudl know in a few weeks. just dont go selling your abit boards and stuff till somebody tries it. after all, intel says that prescotts cant do 4ghz, but we all know that many can. same applies here, it may be unsupported and all, but if it works, we dont know yet
