I just recently received my TwinMos PC3200 1gb kit from NewEgg.

I bought these because of the great reviews and that they are supposedly using UTT modules. After some testing I can't seem to get them to boot at even 200MHz 2-2-2-5 at 3.3v! They work alright at 2-3-3-5 but 2-2-2-5 is no go. I'm using a DFI Ultra-D with the latest bios. Did I just get unlucky with my 'gamble'? The IC looks like its KO-6633 and the memory itself is 0506D TMD7608f8e501.. I'm not familiar with any of this but maybe someone can identify it.

Hmmm...can u give a summary of your results ? Like:

3.x v, 2-x-x-x Timings, max 2xx ... for all timings uve tried and the highest voltages uve given it.

More importantly, what are the last four digits of the Part Number? If it is AADT, then you have Mosel Tec chips, if it is AA4T then you have UTT and if it is 1A4T then you have BH-5.

Last 4 digits of P/N are CADT

Yes, you got a lousy pair. I bought those sticks as well. Can only do 230 at SPD timings of 2.5-3-3-7

With TMII its a gamble, but with TMSP its confirmed, so thats the lesson to be learned here ;)

Last 4 digits of P/N are CADT

:lol: that is not UTT

that is PSC Chip :stick:

if you want UTT.. last 4 digit should be....

AA4T = UTT
1A4T = BH5

the "0506D" part kinda of gaveit away too. UTT would have been "05064"

If the SpeedPreminums all have WinBonds, then why in this NewEgg shot,

http://www.newegg.com/app/Showimage.asp?image=20-218-405-01.jpg/20-218-405-02.jpg&CurImage=20-218-405-01.jpg

does it show on the white label a number ending in AADT? It sure is not AA4T or 1A4T. Damn these bastards for this bait n switch crap! :wierd:

I'd pay an extra $10 for 2 512Mb sticks that are confirmed Winbond.

because they don't take picture of every module they have?

i think they just didn't update the picture.. just ask for the numbers on the sticker

the 3500 should be 1A4T now
