This is an intel implemented thingy that drops the multi to 14x when my systems idles to help with heat. How do i turn it off?

i imagine theres a setting in the BIOS somewhere. i can turn off throttling on my motherboard. i cant remeber how the put it, but i can selct 25%, 50%, 75%, or disable.

It is. Its under power schemes. It requires BIOS and OS suppport.

it's not able to be disabled from my Abit AS8 Bios.
so I had to use work arounds for it.
RM Clock, and Systool can both disable it, after you get into windows.
I like Systools option alot better, it was more reliable.
