I have ordered a gig of LE and while its being shipped her i can either use 2x256 of LA or 1 gig of Mushkin V2

which would be the better road to go until i get my new mem.

higher fsb 300 or more memory at 250

If you're only running your CPU at 250x9 then why do you need mem that will do 300, or is your RAM limiting your overclock?

If you only want to stay at 250x9, then I'd say go for the gig. It'll help quite a bit in games over only having 512. Also, since you're already using a gig as shown in your sig, it will be a step down to use 512.

If you desperately want more CPU speed (and your CPU has more left in it) get the 300MHz 2x256 stuff. 512 is adequate for games, but it doesn't run like a gig.

Have you tried loosening the timings a bit on your RAM to get it higher? That might save you from buying new RAM if all you do is game. It should help your games to get your FSB up to 300, even with loose timings.

its the v2 ram holding it back and i dont like using diverers i see no improvement

i wanted more raw Ghz more than anything but maybe i will hold off till i can just buy the le set

and as for timming 2.5,3,3,7 seem better at 250 than something like 3,4,4,8 or 2.5,4,4,8 at maybe 260-65

Why not use a divider until your new RAM arrives? That would allow for your higher CPU speed and your RAM will just be slower until your GSkill arrives.

It's up to you, though, because it seems your new RAM should solve everything. :)
