Well. I've been folding for Stanford for a few months now. My goal was to score 50,000 and then move on to the XtremeSystems D²OL project. With over 600 WUs completed, I expect this to be my last week folding for Team 39585 (me, myself, and I).
XtremeSystems D²OL Team: I hope you guys have room for another member. :)

Conrad, welcome to the team! Bring your friends. Make them have babies and make the babies crunch D2OL too! :D
Seriously, though, it is good to see people joining up with us. We could definitely use the help.

Well, I'm not officially crunching as of yet. I need about 700 more points to meet my personal goal of 50,000 for Stanford Folding. I expect to meet my goal within the next few days.
I'll be running anywhere between two and four Compaq Evo desktop PCs (office computers at my desk). They come equipped with Pentium 4 processors at 2.4GHz and a 256MB stick of whatever kind of RAM they use in these things - nothing spectacular, but they'll do the job. As long as my work servers don't bonk out, these systems will run 24/7.
Thanks for the advanced welcome, folks. I look forward to contributing towards another great cause starting next Monday. :wiggle:

welcome
Weren't the WU point values increased a little whiles back? Back in the day a good rig would get you maybe 90points a day.
I have about 120k in F@H points, haven't been doing much with folding lately though as I kind of lost interest when I sold off my farm.
