finally i have found the time to get my new rig stable and get some first results :)

specs:
Winnie 3200+ 0448 SPAW
DFI NF4 Ultra-D A02
OCZ VX 4000 2x512MB
Sapphire X850XT
TSP 450w 20pin-PSU using 20->24pin adaptor (already tried an OCZ Powerstream 520 but no difference in stability/clocks)

-max primestable cpu setting is 2700MHz @ 1.60V (1.450*113%)
-the RAM craps out at 265+, but 260@3.5V seems to be fine [edited]
-the vc crashes at more than 540core and shows artifacts at 610+ mem (stock volts/cooling that is)

this is benching/gaming stable: (WinXPSP2/CAT5.3 no tweaks, ccc settings on default)

yay, finally in the 30k club

...advice on timings appreciated :D

Why FSB:DRAM is 1/1 then CPUZ shows fsb @ 280 but ram at 254 in CPUZ Memory Tab?

Why do you think it's 1:1?! He never said that, heh :slap:

RMA? Should do 250 @ 3.2V..

see

OCZ VX 4000 2x512MB = 250$ and you can't even get 260 with them :)

I do 255 at 3.3v with mine "EL CHEAPO" TWINMOS SPEED PREMIUM 170$ for 2*512.

other then that nice results.

RMA? Should do 250 @ 3.2V..it does 250 2.0-2-2-8-13-15 at 3.2v as promised.

for benching i ran 255@3.5V 2.0-2-2-5-7-16. i didnt try if its stable at less volts cuz i didnt have enough time and was very busy finding the cpus limits.

i did a bench at 260 too but the cpu was only at 2600. i guess 260 is possible but it didnt boot at 265 and when i tried clockgen to get higher the system locked up at 270.

my problem is that there is no ram divider that would allow my cpu to run at stable 2700mhz while the ram is at 255-260.
whatever i try i end up at either 243 or something like 266.

so i went with 243 and just raised htt to 280/cpu to 2800, so i would get 255 on the ram

TEDY, can you give them a lil more juice!? :)

it seems like this vx doesnt like more than 3.6v.
at 3.7 or more it will show way more errors in memtest

i tried again with mem 1:1. but still 265 is a no go.

but 260@3.5V is fine:
