First products on market mostly best for ocing.

I have feeling that fresh on market hardware is mostly best for oc.

First 9500 was best moddable to 9700.
First rlses of NF4 are modable to sli.
First Athlon XP 1700+ was best clockers.
First Athlon XP was multiplier unlocked.
First Winnie was clocking better then newer ones.

And probably more more examples. Seems producers block/crop their products when they know about abilities to run as something better. Going that way, its always best to buy fresh after pre of product.

Other thing , do you guys think that newer winnies are specialy cropped that much by amd to be bad ocers ?

Earlier BH-5 is better aswell, could be due to the burn in but i doubt it.
On the other hand it doesn't apply to anything else.

early 1700 and xps were pallys and they sucked for ocing

I had 1700 XP on very begining and it was more then fine. Same for my old Celeron 300A :)

Unfortunately the early examples of X hardware are available when the price is the highest :)

there are ever reasons why they were better!

First 9500 was best moddable to 9700. - That's because a 9700 was more expensive and more people wanted a 9500. But when the prices were dropped, more people wanted a 9700 and there was no need to sell 9700pass cards as 9500 cards anymore.

First rlses of NF4 are modable to sli. - Yes. Why should they give you the option to make a nonSLI Board to do SLI?


First Athlon XP 1700+ was best clockers. - Not really true. The got worse when the A64 production became big

First Athlon XP was multiplier unlocked. - Because they wanted that you buy a new CPU. They cant do this with mobiles, because windows clocks them back.

First Winnie was clocking better then newer ones. - Don't know why...

Early BH-5 is better - Don't know why...

Huh my point is to buy products when we know about good oc abilities and its begining .... till its not too late. History shows that is mostly true.
