Clock becomes unstable in time and artifacts?

Okay, so first i was running 245*9 at 1.36 V. Then i became unstable, even though i Prime'd it. Fine. 1.4 V. And so forth, now I'm up to 1.44 V. I was playing a game and suddently it reboots. When it reaches the Windows loading screen it's loading for some time and then SHUTS DOWN? I mean the whole computer turned off.

So i bumped up the voltage again, and it's all fine?

WTF?!?!

Plus, now I'm getting artifacts in all games? WTF?!?!

Could this be caused because i switched the USB jumpers from 5V to 5VSB?

Correction, it's not artifacts - it's disortion.

I tried moving the jumpers back to 5V - no effect.

I'm really sad about this - the card is 5 days old :(
