Story starts, I get a AI7 for my P4 2.4B that's been running 3.1ghz on an older mobo. The AI7 runs fine for about a month at the same speed w/ 1.7v, memory kingston hyperx ddr433 was running stock speed, stock timings of 2.5-3-3-7@2.7v a-n-a-d-d, pci/agp lock at 66/33. One day I changed my room around and moved the pc. Now I start the computer and it won't change the FSB, not even 1mhz passed stock speed. :stick: It says it's supposed to be changed in the BIOS menu, but doesn't POST at the right speed.
Tried Clearing CMOS, Remove Battery, tested CPU on another mobo and works at 3.1ghz, memory tested on another board also, tried reflashing bios to newest 19, flashing back to 18 and 17, reseated the cpu and everything else, tested another pwr supply. I tried to change the FSB in uGURU but that doesn't work either. :(
Anyone have any ideas? I really don't feel like buying another board.
