Hello, I am just wondering if any of you guys have had experience with this module? This module is a lot cheaper than Corsair's XMS module. But how well does it overclock compare to Corsair's module?

THank you

Welcome to Xtreme!

I've never actually used this, but I used to have two KingMAX PC2700 sticks, they would do 180MHz FSB (and still are, in someone else's machine, who has three  ).

oh man, i found a review at PCStats on Kingmax's PC3200 RAM.

Link (http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=1253)

According to their review, the module in short, sucks.

I wont buy kingmax again. I liked the SDRAM stuff years ago. But the ddr just fell flat on it's face i bought PC2700 a year or so ago.

Save your money

Kingmax DDR400 isn't good at all in terms of overclocking ... Better buy no-name brand with Winbond BH-6 chips :p ...

That's not a good idea either.... you may get some crappy memory like that.... TwinMOS/Kingston with Winbond BH-6/BH-5 is a good choice... and not expensive...

I've seen noname modules doing 190MHz FSB @ max settings w/o a single problem ;) ...
